2026 Circle C Ranch Turkey Trot T-shirt Design Contest

Dear Circle C parents & caregivers,

This year the Circle C Run Club will be hosting its fifth official Circle C Ranch Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning and we need your help.

To commemorate our 5th year we want to design a very special Turkey Trot t-shirt to celebrate this milestone year and we’re going to feature the artwork of a child from Circle C.

The contest rules are simple:

The child must be enrolled in elementary school in grade Kindergarten through 5th grade.
Parent/guardian should be able to provide proof that the child resides in Circle C Ranch
The artwork must be created by hand (no phones, computers, AI) and be suitable for a turkey trot t-shirt design. Think markers, paints, or crayons. Color pallet is limited to six (6) colors, including black and white.
Artwork should include our mascot, Kevin the Peacock and incorporate thematic elements such as community, family, friends, Thanksgiving, generosity, sharing, gratitude, etc. Artwork can also contain handwritten text such as “2026 Circle C Ranch Turkey Trot” or “5th Annual Circle C Ranch Turkey Trot”

Tips from the printer:

Think of designing a billboard on the side of the highway. Simple, bold lines, minimal solid colors work best. Boil the message down to as few words as possible. Little details will hardly be seen.
Assuming the kids are drawing on a letter size paper, looking at when it's a few feet away can help them see what details will show up when it's printed.

The young artist whose artwork is chosen for the 2026 Circle C Turkey Trot t-shirt design will receive five (5) complimentary registrations for this year’s Turkey Trot and a $500 education scholarship sponsored by the Turkey Trot’s long-time supporter, Matt Mintz with Edward Jones.
